Our Annual Gem & Mineral Show brings together rock enthusiasts from all around the Pacific Northwest and gems, minerals, and specimens from all around the world.
Whether you like jewelry, collecting, or learning, our show welcomes all to join the fun for our 2 day show.
For the first time, our 2025 Show will have food on site brought to you by Magpie.
Saturday, September 6th - 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday, September 7 - 10:00am to 5:00pm
Admission is $5 and kids under 12 get in free with paying adult.
Enjoy special exhibits, programs, a live auction, and a great kids section.

Save the date! We are excited to combine our Annual Gem Show with the NFMS Convention and welcoming all to Walla Walla. The deadline to register is June 15, 2025. Register online below.
As we look forward to September, we must let you know that this is, quite possibly, the busiest week of the year. In addition to the Gem Show and Conference, there is an Annual Car Show, Aviation Show, and Fall Release for wine lovers. With that being said, we highly recommend getting a head start on booking your stay with us.

Presidents Message:
Greeting, rockhounds of the Northwest.
My name is Sam Carlson and I am the president of the Marcus Whitman Gem & Mineral Society. It is our pleasure to host this years NFMS Annual Conference in partnership with our Annual Gem Show. We have been working diligently (but with smiles on our faces) to bring you the best conference possible!
Walla Walla is a thriving town on the edge of the beautiful Blue Mountains. We are vibrant valley filled with local businesses, community events, and more recently, world renowned wines. Vineyards have come to call our local area “The Rocks District” due to the unique geological features. The grapes need to plunge deep into the earth, which gives the resulting wine its signature profile. Come learn more about it!
We welcome you to join us for one of the most exciting weekends of the year to enjoy gems, minerals, sunshine, friendly faces, and a decadent dinner at the prestigious Marcus Whitman Hotel. This same weekend, Walla Walla also hosts a car show, aviation show, and Fall Release events at wineries with live music. On that note, we encourage you to book your lodging as soon as possible. We have a plethora of hotels, RV locations, bed and breakfasts, and more in the immediate area, but they are likely to fill up quickly!
